After your pool has been opened up in the spring, some people prefer to take the hands-off approach to taking care of their swimming pool. We offer a weekly, biweekly, monthly and one-time maintenance service where one of our highly trained and professional service technicians will come out to your pool to perform all the tasks necessary to keep maintain your pool.

Refunds and/or Cancellations
You can cancel your maintenance or service agreement or any other service that has not been started yet at any time by calling us during normal business hours and we will refund any prepaid service and this includes consultations that have not been started.

Description

Maintenance Service – What’s Included:

  • We offer weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and one-time maintenance services throughout the pool season.
  • Each visit includes
    • A thorough vacuuming of the pool
    • Skimming of the surface
    • Emptying of the skimmer and pump baskets
    • Precise photometer chemical analysis of all relevant pool chemical parameters
    • Addition of necessary chemicals for sanitized and balanced water
    • Cleaning of pool filter media (for cartridge, sand, or DE filters)
    • Analysis of pool equipment functionality
    • Monthly cleaning of salt cells

Note: Please keep in mind that weather conditions, equipment issues, and pool usage levels can rapidly affect pool water clarity and quality. Water level should be monitored prior to our visits to ensure that we are able to vacuum the pool. If water level is not at operational height either raise to correct height or please inform us of improper water level prior to your weekly maintenance appointments.

Customer Responsibilities for Maintenance Service:

  • Customers on a weekly or biweekly maintenance schedule may not be able to request which day of the week their maintenance visits are scheduled.
  • Visits may be delayed due to weather.
  • Maintenance customers may be required to have a credit card number put on file and charged after visits.
  • Customers understand that pool water can quickly become unsanitized or cloudy very quickly due to usage, weather, and equipment issues, and that maintenance services do not guarantee water will remain sanitized and clear.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all pool equipment is functioning properly and is properly-sized and installed.
  • The Swimming Pool Store’s maintenance technician will make note of any equipment issues, but is not responsible for the repair or replacement of any equipment.
  • For repairs and replacements please schedule a service appointment.
  • Customer understands that maintenance services do not include the restoration or repair of issues with the pool’s or property’s existing construction, landscaping, plumbing lines, or equipment.

Billing:

  • Customers will receive an invoice for the services usually within a week of completion.
  • Customer must submit payment in full upon receiving the invoice.
  • After 30 days, late fees of 1.5% per month will be added to the invoice total.
  • Failure to pay the invoice in full within six months will result in submission of invoice to a collections agency or legal action.
